Happy Near Year 2023 | Five Ways to Upgrade Your Health in 2023

Happy New Year 2023 - to our healthiest year yet!

As I write this, it is New Year’s Eve leaving 2022! I love the energy around New Year’s. To me it’s about a fresh start, a new beginning. A change of energy, bringing of new hopes and dreams, and new inspiration to make upgrades in our life to better support our health and wellbeing.

I love the time we are living in because we have SO much access to take responsibility for our health and wellbeing. There are so many paths to heal whether we want to focus on our physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual health.

Here are my top five tips for upgrading your health in 2023.

  1. Take an honest review of your relationship with alcohol. Oh, alcohol! How I loved you during college and up into my early 30’s. I was a social drinker and it often felt so glamorous to me. Rose during summer in the Hamptons, tequila during a club night out in New York City. But as time went on and I became more aligned with who I truly am on a soul level, I began to notice that alcohol was always separating me from my higher level consciousness. Almost five months ago today, I made the decision to give the Alcohol-Free Lifestyle a chance, and I have been LOVING IT! It truly is a Superpower, for me. Everything in my life is better without alcohol. Intimacy, mental health, sleep, my skin/beauty, my work, and especially my bank account.

  2. Bring toxin binders into your regular supplement rotation: For anyone who has followed me for any length of time now, you know that I believe it’s critical in this day and age to make detox practices a part of your regular health routines. One of the easiest ways to do this is keep some high quality chemical, mycotoxin, pesticide, and heavy metal binders as part of your supplement rotation because these toxins are hard to avoid in our environment these days. You don’t necessarily have to take a binder everyday. My best recommendation is to book sessions with me so we can do a Vibrant Wellness Total Toxin Burden test to know exactly what is in your body and personalize a protocol for you. My second best recommendation is contact me to order some of the CellCore Binders to keep in your rotation. I keep all of their binders on hand, especially Biotoxin Binder. This is a Practitioner-only brand, so please email me and I will be happy to help you order.

  3. Make a list of the top 3 experiences you are calling into your life in 2023. Then begin to align your daily activities with those experiences. Manifestation is one thing — but focusing our attention and energy on what we want to create in life is vital as well to bring it to fruition. Personally, I have big intentions for Career, Relationships, and Finances in 2023. Knowing my most-aligned priorities helps keep me from getting distracted or brought off path by anyone else’s priorities. It acts as a guide to me for when to say yes, and when to say no.

  4. Refresh your morning & evening routines. The biggest misconception about these is that they must include many steps and be complicated. Rather, it’s the opposite. Remember: the greatest expression of elegance is simplicity. Our morning and evening routines are there to support us to show up as our most whole selves during our waking hours. My evening routine sets me up for my morning routine. I love to load the dishwasher, light a candle, make a cup of herbal tea, and either catch up with a loved one or watch a cool TV show to wind down before bed. Lights are always out before 11pm. And in the mornings, my routine is a combination of water, butter coffee, a Joe Dispenza meditation, and morning movement. It’s all about grounding into your own energy and intentions before starting the day.

  5. Evaluate what you could do to differently to better set up your home environment to support your goals. The organization and cleanliness of our home environment has a major impact on our mental and emotional health. A cluttered space leads to a cluttered mind. Ever notice how you immediately feel better after cleaning? How could you implement a new habit or routine dedicated to keeping your space supportive of your health? Personally, my intention right now is “Everything in it’s right place”. Yes, this is inspired by the Radiohead song. This means I recently ordered some new organizing systems for my kitchen for instance — so that everything has a home, a place. This way I can avoid clutter or piles building up.

Thank you so much for reading. I would love to hear which of these resonates the most with you. What are your intentions for 2023?

Wishing everyone a joyful, happy, and healthy 2023!

xoxo,

Meg
